The company was created in1989 as specialist designer and manufacturer of education science equipment with quality and innovation being important factors in our vision statement.
At that time our primary market was Asia and Middle East consequently we have developed considerable expertise in meeting the stringent demands of quality, performance and meeting stringent delivery schedules.
This initial foray into international marketing saw considerable expansion and in 1993 customer goodwill dictated further refinement of our manufacturing capability to the end that our market expanded to cover some European counties and Australasia . Consolidating on the above marketing strategies, the year 2000 saw a rapid increase in our in house manufacturing both in terms of volume and sophistication.
Lionet Science and Education moved into newer premises more appropriate to the needs of the company in the year2002 and this expansion permitted the development of our own in house design center with more efficient warehousing...
At the same time Lionet also incorporated injection moulding facilities with CAD Spark erosion technology in order to control in house production of moulds and dies, create products and/or components in house with the obvious cost and quality assurance controls.
Further expansion later in the year saw Lionet Science and Serrata Pty. Ltd. of Australia enter a co-operation agreement where both companies expertise could combine to meet the ever growing needs of the science education market. An assessment of production and distribution capacity in2003 dictated the need to now design and build dedicated facilities to ensure adequate and appropriate effciencies could be maintained and improved upon in the coming years. The year 2005 marked a milestone in development of Lionet .In April the new warehousing/administration/manufacturing complex was completed and became became fully operational.
